Fire Extinguisher Training

The Wheeling Fire Department Bureau of Fire Prevention offers fire extinguisher training to businesses and various groups of people annually.

Fire extinguisher training is typically a 1-hour course that discusses proper usage, different types of fires where extinguishers can be used, and proper instructions on how to use an extinguisher.

Situations that may arise with a fire, instructions on how to uses one, with a hands-on training at the end.

Training is available year-round, however subject to change.
