• To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 18-35 for employment.
• For veterans, applicants can apply up to age 40. (Must provide DD-214 form).
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Residency Requirement: Must live within 20 air miles of the City-County Building, located at 1500 Chapline Street within one year.

Salary Information (as of July 1, 2025)
$48,885 - Base Salary
$53,235 - with EMT Certification
$58,270 - with EMT & Paramedic Certification
