Justice Assistance Grant

Please take notice that the City of Wheeling, WV Police Department, and the Ohio County, WV Sheriff’s Office, have applied for federal grant funding through the FY 25 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program to enhance regional law enforcement capabilities through targeted investments in investigative technology, officer safety equipment, and advanced crime scene documentation tools. The application can be viewed and commented on at the Wheeling Police Department, the City Clerk’s Office, and online at: wheelingwv.gov/JAG.
