Crime Watch Meetings

Crime Watch 1.png
The Wheeling Police Department holds several monthly Crime Watch meetings throughout the city year-round in various neighborhoods. These meetings are informal and open to any resident, regardless of which neighborhood they live in. The purpose of the meetings is to build relationships with residents by working together to address crime-related issues through in-person conversation. Officers provide monthly statistics and discuss upcoming events, initiatives and crime trends. City Council representatives typically hold a ward meeting following the Crime Watch discussion to address general city-related concerns.
