Stabbing Investigation
Wheeling Police are investigating a stabbing that took place late Monday afternoon, June 29. 
Around 5 p.m., police were dispatched to a domestic assault call at an apartment in the 2100 block of National Road in Elm Grove.
Two people were taken to Wheeling Hospital by the Wheeling Fire Department to receive medical treatment. The injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
A male suspect was taken into custody by police, and charges are pending after a medical assessment. 
The incident remains under investigation by police.
