Two Arrested in Overnight Fight, Shot Fired Call

Two people were arrested overnight and are facing criminal charges by the Wheeling Police Department.
 
 This morning, around 1:40 a.m., officers were called to the 200 block of South Broadway Street on Wheeling Island for a fight between two people and a single gunshot being heard inside an apartment. Police spoke to those involved and detained several individuals to investigate. No one was hurt during the incident.
 
 A search warrant was then obtained for the apartment, where officers located a large amount of illegal drugs, ammunition and one spent shell casing.

Brittany Lea Foster, 36 of Wheeling is charged with being a prohibited person from possessing a firearm and possession with intent to deliver.

Roland Nathaniel Copney, 35 of Wheeling is facing charges of wanton endangerment and possession with intent to deliver.
