Earth Day Community Block Party Re-located to Wheeling Artisan Center

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the Earth Day Community Block Party slated for 1-10 p.m., Saturday at Heritage Port is being re-located to the third floor of the Wheeling Artisan Center, 1400 Main Street.

Beginning at 1 p.m., the event will feature food, a variety of vendors, a plant swap and games, along with your friendly Valley-Wide Spiderman and special guests - the Ohio Valley Avengers and Enchanted Valley Princesses. Live music is slated from 1-8 p.m. with The Hooch from 1-2 p.m.; Steel Cassa from 2:30-3:30 p.m.; Mr. Fancy Pants from 4-5:40 p.m.; and the Gypsy Cowboys from 6-8 p.m. The Moon River Star Watch scheduled for 8-10 p.m. is dependent upon weather.

The Earth Day Community Block Party is presented by the City of Wheeling’s Department of Parks & Recreation along with the Ohio County Solid Waste Authority with sponsorships from the Wheeling-Ohio County CVB, Liberty Distributors, Republic Services and Kozicki Hughes Tickerhoof.
