The objective of the Historic Landmarks Commission is to oversee the preservation and protection of historically and architecturally significant buildings and neighborhoods in the City of Wheeling, West Virginia.  The Commission is recognized as a Certified Local Government by the National Parks Service and State Historic Preservation Office due to its demonstrated commitment to historic preservation.  The Commission meets the first Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m.
