Spring Cleanup 2026

8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the following dates:

-March 20 - Garden Park, Warwood

-March 27 - Former Valley Concrete, South Wheeling

-April 10 - Former Dog Pound, Fulton

-April 17 - Former Wheeling-Penn Closure, East Wheeling

-April 24 - Pleasanton Playground, Pleasanton

-May 1 - Patterson Ballfield, Elm Grove

-May 8 - Belle Isle Park, Wheeling Island

Please Note

-The program is open to all residents living within Wheeling city limits. Proof of residency will be required.

- This program is intended for residential use only and is not available for businesses or industrial disposal. 

- All items must be landfill appropriate. Tires and hazardous waste items such as paints and chemicals will not be accepted. Questions regarding those items should be directed to the Ohio County Solid Waste Authority at (304) 234-3884.

- Those with general questions about the spring cleanup may contact the City of Wheeling’s Sanitation Department at (304) 234-3707. Please note this is NOT an Ohio County Solid Waste Authority-sponsored event.
