City Council Meeting

NOTE: THIS WEEK’S MEETING IS MOVED TO MONDAY, AUGUST 2ND DUE TO THE WEST VIRGINIA MUNICIPAL LEAGUE MEETING, WHICH IS HELD IN WHEELING.


Wheeling City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7pm.  


City Council Chambers, 1500 Chapline Street Room 206, Wheeling, WV 26003

Meetings are open to the public.  All residents, businesses, interested citizens and members of the press are encouraged to attend. Anyone wishing to be heard is invited to call the City Clerk at (304) 234-3694 or simply arrive 15 minutes early to the council meeting and sign up there with the City Clerk.  

Upcoming Meeting Agenda and Previous Meeting Minutes are available here on the Friday prior to the next meeting. In case of a holiday week, the agenda will be available on the last business day of the week preceeding the meeting.
